Saindhavadi Tail

Saindhavadi Tail (सेन्धवादि तेल) is a time-honoured classical Ayurvedic medicated oil referenced in Ashtanga Hridayam, prepared with Saindhava Lavana (rock salt) as the primary therapeutic agent in a base of sesame oil with classical Vata-pacifying herbs. The name derives from its principal ingredient — Saindhava (Sindh rock salt), which in Ayurveda is considered the finest of all salts, specifically beneficial for Vata disorders.

This classical formulation penetrates deep into the joints and muscles, dissolving accumulated toxins (Ama), reducing inflammation and restoring proper circulation of Vata (the energy governing movement and sensation). It is highly effective for all types of joint and musculoskeletal conditions including arthritis, back pain, sciatica and cervical spondylosis.
